It’s Friday morning, the end of another work week. I awoke this morning as I was jostled out of a deep sleep at 3:11, yet another reminder of the transition in which Jackie and I are immersed.
With our relocation countdown at “T minus two weeks”, much is stirring on the inside.
As I reflect on the many stages of the journey over the past two years which have led us to this point in our lives, I can with 100% certainty claim I / we have been carried by God and the care of His people.
There really is no other way I can explain it.
It is with absolute conviction I can say – The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all I need in Him!
I invite you to take a moment to reflect with me, drinking deeply of those times He has carried you too.
The Lord is my Shepherd. I have all that I need.
There are moments I question how things are going to work out. His promise is rock solid – He alone is all I need!
He lets me rest in green meadows. He leads me beside peaceful streams.
Life is hectic, fast paced, and at times extremely draining. He makes it possible for me to “take five”!
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.
When I am weary, second guessing “Do I turn to the right or turn to the left?” – He alone is my internal GPS and points me in the right direction!
Even when I walk through the darkest valley I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.
Life is trying at times and often it appears as if I will not make it. It is in these moments He carries me with His silent, but reassuring presence.
When life comes at me and the road proves difficult, He rewards me by inviting me to be the guest of honor at a banquet.
I could spend a lifetime recounting all He has done for me. Despite the many blessings He has bestowed upon me, it is His majestic presence which is my focal point!
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
As a groom beholds his bride, He is head over heels crazy about me and He is intentional about proving it. In Him, I have a place called Home.
My prayer for you is this. May you too experience, in your own way, God’s goodness in your own life!
